From the brand Pure Flow, Guided by HQUA, we find that back in 2016, most of the UV water sterilizers were unaffordable for families. Additionally, obtaining clean water directly from pipes, wells, or rainwater was difficult, especially for those living in rural or small-town areas.

Driven by this observation, HQUA was established with the aim of providing people with affordable, reliable, and responsible products and services to address water-related issues. Our products primarily focus on two areas: indoor drinking water treatment and outdoor pond water circulation, decoration, and swimming pool equipment.

The ultraviolet (UV) treatment process is the core technology employed in our water purification systems. This physical process quickly mutates and/or degrades the DNA of microorganisms, rendering them unable to function or reproduce, and ultimately causing them to die.

In the UV disinfection process, water flows through a stainless steel chamber (reactor) that contains a special UV-producing lamp. As the water passes by the lamp, the microbes in the water receive a lethal dose of UV light, effectively eliminating them.

The main components of the HQUA UV Water Sterilizer include the UV reactor chamber, UV lamp and quartz sleeve, and electronic ballast. The UV chamber is made of durable 304 stainless steel, while the quartz sleeve provides high UV light transmittance. The electronic ballast connects the UV lamp to the power source and serves as a system controller.

HQUA water sterilizers ensure a 99.99% reduction in bacteria and microbes, with a corresponding UV exposure of 30 mJ/cm². For stronger bacterial or microbial problems, a slower flow rate, higher wattage device, or additional sterilizers may be required.

Installation and maintenance of the HQUA UV Water Sterilizer are straightforward. No chemical supplements are needed, as the system is designed to be permanently installed in the pipe system. The UV lamp requires annual replacement, and the quartz sleeve should be cleaned every 6-12 months, with replacement every 2 years.

Water quality is crucial for the optimal performance of the UV system. HQUA provides detailed guidelines on recommended levels of iron, hardness, turbidity, manganese, tannins, and UV transmittance. Additionally, a temperature control valve may be necessary if the water in the chamber becomes excessively hot during extended periods of no water flow.
