The Sawyer MINI Water Filter is a lightweight and versatile personal filtration system. Weighing just 2 ounces and fitting in the palm of your hand, it is perfect for various situations such as camping or traveling to places where tap and bottle water cannot be trusted. The MINI provides 0.1 micron absolute filtration, effectively removing bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics from drinking water on the go.

In independent testing, the MINI filter has been proven to remove 99.99999% of all bacteria, including harmful bacteria like Salmonella which can cause diseases such as Cholera, Leptospirosis, and E. coli. It also removes 99.9999% of all protozoa, such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. These removal rates meet or exceed other filter options. In fact, EPA guidelines allow for ten times more protozoa to be present in water than what the Sawyer MINI filters allow. Additionally, the MINI filters out 100% of microplastics.

The MINI filter utilizes a cluster of micro-fibrous tubes, similar to the technology used in medical dialysis. As water passes through these tubes, harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped on the outer walls, ensuring that your water is safe to drink.

The Sawyer MINI offers various ways to access clean water. It can be attached to the included drinking pouch, used with the included straw to drink directly from a water source, connected to hydration pack tubing (sold separately), or screwed onto standard disposable bottles with a 28mm thread.
