Epic was founded by Ash in 2015, after he had just moved to the US from Asia and witnessed first-hand the plastic pollution on the beaches, which got him thinking about finding a solution to this environmental time bomb.

Our goal has always been environmentally minded, and we find value in not only practicing environmental stewardship as a company but also supporting others who do the same.

We now include two filters with all of our water bottles: the EveryTap (blue) filter, designed for everyday use with treated tap water only, and the Everywhere (white) filter, designed for international travel and outdoor adventure, as it removes contaminants from outdoor freshwater sources that can make you sick. Each filter lasts for 75 gallons and should be replaced every 3-4 months.

This Nalgene water bottle with a filter uses depth and adsorption filtration to be the perfect water purifier. Adsorption removes particulates via the activated coconut carbon fiber mesh surface areas, which adsorb contaminants such as cysts, heavy metals, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Depth filtration (6mm thick) involves the removal of suspended waste products as they try to pass through the millions of layers of coconut carbon fiber block.
